Chibogu is an alumna of the University of Lagos and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1982.
She is a highly experienced lawyer with over 35 years’ experience in providing legal services to the Federal Government of Nigeria having started her career with the then Federal Electoral Commission (FEDECO) and then moved to the Federal Ministry of Justice during which she represented the Ministry in several litigations. She also served in the Ministries of Aviation, Health and Defence from where she retired as the Director, Legal Services.
A seasoned Administrator and Legal Adviser, she brings on board her wealth of experience to lead various areas of our practice particularly Litigation, Legal Drafting, Negotiations, Drafting and vetting of Contracts/ Joint Venture Agreements and preparation of legal opinions.
She has participated in international engagements as Legal Adviser and member of the Nigerian delegation on various meetings and conferences such as the Nigerian delegation on the World Health Assembly, Geneva, the Conference of the Partners (COP) to the World Health Organisation (WHO) Framework convention on Tobacco Control.
She has served on a lot of Committees and was the Chairman of the Inter-Ministerial Committee on the Review of the Armed Forces Act. She also represented the various Ministries in the Boards of its parastatals.
Chibogu is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb).
