About Me

John holds a bachelor’s degree in Law, LL.B (Hons.), from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria – Nigeria in 1998 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2000.

Experience

John’s work experience and specialties span various aspects of commercial law, legal advisory, drafting, documentation, secured credits, policy formulations and property matters during a stint of about 19 years in the banking industry. He held various leadership positions across these years. He also served as member of various Management Committees.

He is experienced in non-interest banking practice (Islamic Finance) having driven the legal frame work for attainment of the banking license for a commercial bank and sat with the Advisory Council of Experts as Legal Adviser.

He is a Member of the Nigerian Bar Association and brings on board a seasoned experience in commercial legal practice and Non-Interest Banking in the business development and professional law practice of the firm. He has attended various subject matter and management courses locally and internationally.
