About Me
Uchenna is a 1985 Master’s degree graduate in Law of the London School of Economics and Political Science, having obtained her bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Westminster, England in 1984. She was called to the English Bar in 1987, the Nigerian Bar in 1988 and is a member of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, England. She also holds an MBA from the University Of Warwick, England. Uche has attended various conferences and training including the “Managing Professional Services Firm Programme” at the Harvard Business School and the “Advanced Management Programme” at the Lagos Business School.
Experience
Uchenna has served in senior executive management positions and her work experience spans law, banking, and management consulting. Her experience in management consulting involved working with public and private sector organizations in areas such as Change Management, Human Resource Consulting and Training. She has worked with organizations to enhance organizational effectiveness by supporting them to set a new strategic direction, improve core work processes, structures, align internal culture, develop and implement transition plans that assist organizations and employees to recognize and address the psychological losses often associated with radical behavioral change required for a major organizational strategy redesign.
Uchenna has vast experience in working with organizations to improve employee effectiveness through training ranging from basic soft skills training to comprehensive leadership solutions. She is a certified facilitator of the suite of FranklinCovey solutions (the global leader in strategy execution and assessment services, effectiveness training, and productivity tools).
In 2010, she was appointed a member of the Public Sector Capacity Building Technical Advisory and Standardization Committee and in 2003 worked with the Technical Committee of the NESG in organizing the National Economic Summit.
Uche served as the Chief Responsibility Officer (CEO) of ReStraL Limited until April 2015, a consulting firm focused on the provision of leadership and management development solutions. Prior to joining ReStraL, Uche worked with Leadership and Vision Limited where she designed, developed and facilitated various training programmes geared towards developing leadership and managerial skills in people.
She has over 6 years banking experience having worked in the Legal, Treasury and Capital Markets & Investments departments of Pacific Bank Limited, now merged into Unity Bank Plc. She brings on board a wide range of experience to drive the focus and highly professional service delivery in Opal Law.
